I'm digging these fog linen garcon aprons available at Wayne Pate. The aprons are cleverly modeled by a dapper gentlemen with bottle of rose. What's better than that? They certainly know how to market to their clientele.

My mother and I found a great deal on a Pfaff sewing machine this past weekend and so we've been pulling together a few unfinished projects that I had lying around—namely, some lovely linen table napkins and a few printed tea towels from Lena's workshop a year and a half ago.
We have been so busy organizing, restructuring, and rearranging things to make sure that the house runs a bit more more smoothly. She's been such a huge help, especially since M is on her way. And don't worry, we've taken her kayaking, walking, shopping, dining, and garden hopping too—she's not here to work!

Pretty linens give any bedroom a facelift—whether the whole bed is redressed or new pillow linens are introduced. In the summertime, I love a colorful bed with Indian patterns like suzanis, ikats, florals, and paisleys.
You can find the linens above at Kerry Cassill or at Odessa boutique in Portland.

How pretty are these new tea towels from my friend Lee's new design studio called Studiopatró? I'd like one of each and that lovely garçon apron too!

I'm really having a plaid moment. It all started with my pretty fog linen work checked table cloth and it's turned into my obsession with their lovely napkins and placemats. And now, I'm revisiting Pendleton for the warm blankets that my grandmother used to keep on eastern Long Island for picnics and cool nights. Did you know that they did a collection with Opening Ceremony for their 100th anniversary?
