Lately my mornings have been taken over by iced coffee-fueled meetings and busy preparations for photo shoots. I'm sorry that it's been so long since I've posted. I'm learning again what it feels like to balance things and keep some time just for me.
Since things have been a little harried around here, I will share at least one of the things that have been keeping me going—the promise of a beautifully dressed bed at the end of the day. We are loving our fabulously textured and utterly sumptuous bedding from Matteo Home found at one of my favorite places for all things beautiful, Alder & Co.

Two pretty quilts from A.P.C.'s collaboration with Jessica Ogden and Jean Touitou who started the quilt project by taking unused archival A.P.C. fabric and turning it into limited edition bedding. I really like the patterns they chose and feel even more inspired to take up quilting. I've got to pick up some fat quarters.

Pretty linens give any bedroom a facelift—whether the whole bed is redressed or new pillow linens are introduced. In the summertime, I love a colorful bed with Indian patterns like suzanis, ikats, florals, and paisleys.
You can find the linens above at Kerry Cassill or at Odessa boutique in Portland.
