I love Terenobu Fujimori's garden of potted plants and succulents. These photographs remind me of the 'small gardens' in the backyards of the Japanese. Renee saw them in Kyoto and I saw lots of them people's yards in Miname Aoyama (青山), Ebisu (恵比寿), and Daikanyama (代官山) in Tokyo.

These are just some of the neighborhoods we're looking into moving to at the end of the year.

Le Havre’s first Contemporary Art Biennale, welcomes the installation of a pop art piece from Claude Cormier Landscape Architects. The piece entitled "Pergola" is
"a tribute to Le Havre-born Monet, forefather of impressionism: 90,000 plastic balls are arranged into an image of the wisteria blooms that figure in many of the artist’s oeuvres. The balls come in five tones - an abstracted impressionist palette – and climb towards the abundant sunlight, creating an exuberant play of colour, light and shadows underneath."

I'd love a stroll beneath the hanging juxtaposition of the natural/faux plastic wisteria. A fine place for a fashion editorial.
