I love these simple wreaths by Emily Thompson in Brooklyn. I may try to recreate something similar for our front door.

I'm thinking about some of the fun things about fall like planting bulbs, mums and cabbages, making hearty one-pot dishes, and putting up a new wreath. At the moment, I am admiring the textural offerings made from morel mushrooms and mahogany shavings available through Terrain.
