I'm feeling much better after a nice weekend and I'm ready to take on the world. Luckily for me, it's a short work week, as we're heading to Tahoe for some skiing and good times with A's friends.

I am doing a bit of spring cleaning—mainly going through my closet and selling a few dresses that I don't wear anymore on Ebay. I've also hung some art, moved furniture around, and invited in some cheery hydrangeas. All in all things are feeling fresh and alive again.

I'm hoping that after we get back from our trip, we can focus a bit on our living arrangements, either adding a few pieces to make this place more enjoyable or finding some place new.

Today I am admiring the delicate vases from Sugahara Glassworks in Japan. How refreshing! They are available at Canoe in Portland.

On another note, I am very excited about our upcoming trip to Japan and Malaysia. I cannot wait for big bowls of ramen, design shops, sticks of kushiyaki, nomihodai (all-you-can-drink) karaoke bars, and so much more.
