A few of the Sasek children's classics that I worked on reissuing are out for release, including This is the Way to the Moon and This is Australia. I loved researching all of the space mission facts from the original book, This is Cape Canaveral, and making sure it was updated to include the lunar landing for NASA's 40th anniversary of the first-manned spacecraft to land on the moon this past July.

Tom Dixon is a huge name in the British design world. He writes about seeing design choices in everything--especially in the objects and elements of one's environment that one may think of as commonplace.

I'm inspired by his chapter on Constructivism, where he curates a number of images (some of his personal photographs and others he has pulled together) to juxtapose manmade construction with the organic and natural. I love seeing the variety of textures altogether. Tom Dixon's Interior Worlds is available here.
