I was clicking through the NYTimes today and found Maira Kalman's Op-Ed called "In Love with Lincoln" detailing her trip to the Rosenbach Museum in Philadelphia to look through the Lincoln Archive. The perfect "get-well" present--the chocolate chip cookie. I've been wanting to try this recipe ever since reading this article in The New York Times and now that Molly has raved about them--I knew the days were numbered until I tested them out.

And after finding out that my friend just had surgery on her ankle--I'm sure she's in need of a visit with some baked goods in hand.
