After a boat to a bus to a train to a cab, we’ve returned to Kyoto. I cannot thank Renee enough for suggesting Hotel Prinz. Not only is the room spacious and comfortable—it’s such a pleasure to be surrounded by good design. The bed is enormous, literally two Kings together. The far wall is lined with a running counter that breaks only for a small sink and range.
