We turned out two beautiful cara cara
orange olive oil cakes last night. On top of one of the cakes, we crumbled a pistachio brittle. We left the other plain for our morning coffee.
Look for this interesting breed of orange at the market this month—the cara cara orange has a pink flesh and tastes like an orange mixed with a pink grapefruit and the faint flavor of rose petals.
