Have trowel, will garden. I just came upon a fantastic site Sharedearth.com, which connects gardeners and farmers with landowners in search of a well-tilled outdoor landscape. Both participants share in the bounty, be it vegetables or flowers. In a sense, it's the largest community garden project and I couldn't be more inspired. How many times while living in Manhattan did I long for a small plot of land to work? Learn more here.
