One of the editors that I work with brought me the prettiest cookies (the tops and bottoms of macarons) and chocolates from Sadaharu Aoki in Paris. I've only been to Aoki's location in Tokyo where we waited on the longest line to pick up his beautiful French sweets in delicious Japanese flavors—yuzu(ユズ), matcha (まっちゃ), black sesame (黒ゴマ), and wasabi (わさび).

Oh how lucky you are. They look fantastic. And I love the colours and unusual flavours. The simplicity of the packaging which is so neat makes the surprise inside even more lovely.
