I’ve been reviewing and researching the history of the party dress in all of its incarnations for a top secret project while preparing to attend a photo shoot for another project on the lavish parties of the Upper East Side—all of this while trying to plan a small bash for my birthday here in New York.
Sorry that the posts have been so few and far between, but May is such a busy month! Doesn’t it feel like when the weather lifts, and the sun shines, people will make any excuse to attend a party?
